SOME THINGS WILL NOT CHANGE IN 2026!

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Hebrews 13:8

As each year passes, witnessed by a frail Humanity’s return to dust (Ps. 90:5-6; Eccl. 3:20; James 4:14), we are inevitably reminded that our Fallen Universe is subject to unrelenting change and disarray (Ps.102:25-26; Isa.51:6). Likewise, the world’s volatile political and economic institutions reel in instability, even as its fluid conventions swirl endlessly in a perpetual state of flux.

BUT… there are those things that we CAN count upon not to change in the Year of our Lord 2026!

1. Christ will NOT change (Heb. 13:8), and He will be with us throughout 2026 (Heb. 13:5)!

2. The Believer’s Position & Privileges in Christ cannot change! NOTHING can either destroy our Justification before God—based upon Christ’s work and merits (Rom. 8:1)—nor eradicate our standing as adopted Members of God’s Family (Rom. 8:14-17)!

3. God’s promises—including those related unto our sanctification—are not fickle (2 Cor. 1:18-20); they will not change! Lacking contentment? Heb. 13:5-6. Impossible trials? 2 Cor. 12:7-9. Struggling with guilt? 1John 1:7,9. Direction in godliness? James 1:5-6. Need spiritual power? John 7:38.

4. You will still have Conflict in 2026… the World (Rom. 12:2; Matt. 10:34-38)… the Flesh (Rom. 7:19, 21) …and the Devil (1Pet. 5:8, Eph. 6:11-12)!

5. The revealed will of God and its demands will NOT change in 2026 (Matt. 24:35, Isa. 40:8)! His Word will still prove all sufficient in meeting all our spiritual and emotional needs (2Tim. 3:16-17; Ps.119:11-12)!

6. The glorious hope that is ours in Christ will NOT change! This hope continues to be the certain expectation of obtaining our glorious eternal destiny in Jesus Christ (1Cor. 15:19; Titus 2:11-13; Rom. 8:22-25; Heb. 11:1, 9-10)!
